Rotterdam shows the path to becoming a smart city and harnessing the Internet of Things

For much of the last year, I’ve written about how cities are changing, about how the shift to smart cities and the uptake of the Internet of Things will happen. I believe that Rotterdam in the Netherlands is a clear example of the evolution we’re seeing and also that more and more cities will follow their lead and probably surprisingly quickly.
