Enevo’s tech suite is designed to optimize waste solutions, in everyday life and in times of crisis.
Our patented sensor monitors waste behavior, measuring fill levels and detecting collections. This powers our advanced analytics software, creating custom collection schedules to match each location’s unique waste behavior -- including fluctuations caused by seasonality, organic shifts in business, and major events like pandemics.
Here’s how our tech is assisting waste companies and their essential employees:
As a basic feature of our tech-powered waste solutions, our software automatically creates collection schedules and routes. Enevo collection routes drive the fewest number of miles while avoiding container overflow. Operations are optimized and trucks run in the most sustainable fashion possible.
Especially during times of significant waste generation fluctuations, Enevo’s near real-time data automatically generates ideal schedules and routes, allowing waste companies to focus on the safety of their employees, flex with their customers' needs, and overcome challenges associated with potential health disruption of drivers.
When Enevo’s software creates its collection schedules and routes, it builds the most efficient routes (fewest miles or hours) by utilizing near real-time trends of containers. This ensures containers in need are serviced before any overflow, while keeping the operation in sync with the changes their customers’ are facing. Enevo’s tech recognizes and recommends containers in need and necessary collections. This utilizes their time appropriately, reducing time out and about, decreasing risk of infection.
When unnecessary collections are eliminated, the risk of injury is reduced. In the waste world, we measure collections to the second and when workers have a looming deadline and too many sites to visit, workers and drivers are rushed. When a route only includes sites in need (typically less sites), workers can take their time and properly conduct each collection safely.
Worker safety is always our top priority. While hospitals are currently overwhelmed, we’re happy to do what we can to keep waste workers safe.
Waste is an industry and in this peculiar financial time, everyone is keeping an eye on their bottom line. When our tech optimizes practices, waste companies can make the most of their available equipment and personnel. This keeps operational costs low and can even help reduce layoffs.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought daily life to a grinding halt, but waste services continue on, serving remaining essential businesses. These workers keep our communities tidy and businesses running smoothly. We’re grateful for our waste workers and we’re proud to create tech to support them in this uncertain time.
